NetApp Volumes adds client-connected block volume deletion protection
NetApp Volumes now supports preventing the deletion of block volumes when clients are connected, a feature necessary for using the service with Google Cloud VMware Engine datastores. This enhancement ensures that volumes mounted as GCVE datastores cannot be accidentally deleted. The protection is available for both block and file volumes.

- NetApp Volumes
The Flex Unified service level supports the optional feature Block volume from deletion when clients are connected for both block and file volumes. This option is required for using NetApp Volumes with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) datastores. When this option is enabled, it prevents the deletion of a volume if the volume is mounted as a GCVE datastore.
