Managed Service for Apache Spark drops default Conda channels

The latest subminor image version for Managed Service for Apache Spark on Google Kubernetes Engine (3.5-dataproc-28) removes preconfigured Conda channels. This change requires users to manually configure Conda channels during cluster initialization for package installation, impacting existing and new clusters. Workloads must transition to image versions without preconfigured Conda channels by August 25, 2026, after which older versions will be disallowed.
