DocumentDB adds 46 MongoDB operators for better compatibility
Amazon DocumentDB now supports 46 additional MongoDB aggregation operators and cursor methods in version 8.0.1. This update significantly enhances query API compatibility, easing the migration of MongoDB workloads by reducing the need for application code modifications. Amazon DocumentDB version 8.0.1 introduces support for 46 new MongoDB aggregation operators and cursor methods. This expansion covers various categories including Accumulators, Trigonometry, Bitwise aggregation, Arithmetic, Data size and type, Timestamp, and other stages. The enhancements aim to improve compatibility with MongoDB workloads.
