Starting August 2026, Confidential VM instances utilizing AMD SEV-SNP may experience longer boot times and performance changes. This is due to upcoming guest kernel migrations and security updates, with a resolution expected by November 2026. Instances using AMD SEV or Intel TDX are not affected by this specific issue.
