Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL connectors for Managed Kafka
Managed Service for Apache Kafka now supports PostgreSQL source connectors, enabling data streaming from Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL or any generic PostgreSQL instance. This feature, based on Debezium, allows row-level changes to be written directly to Kafka topics, enhancing data pipeline capabilities for PostgreSQL users. These connectors are now available for use.

You can now create a Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL Source connector and a Generic PostgreSQL Source connector for Kafka Connect. A Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL Source connector or Generic PostgreSQL Source connector is an instance of a Debezium PostgreSQL connector . It reads row-level changes from a PostgreSQL database and writes them to topics in a Managed Service for Apache Kafka cluster.
