AWS Security Agent adds Kiro, Claude Code, and simulated validation
AWS Security Agent, now part of AWS Continuum, has added support for Kiro and Claude Code, allowing developers to run security scans from their IDE. The agent now simulates exploits in a sandbox to validate findings, reducing false positives and prioritizing remediation. New integrations with GitLab, GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket, and Confluence are also included, enhancing its utility for development teams.

Developers can now trigger security scans directly from their development environment using Kiro and Claude Code plugins for AWS Security Agent, enabling threat modeling and remediation within their IDE.
- Add simulated validation for code scanner findings
The agent now validates code scanner findings by simulating exploits in a sandbox environment, providing proof of exploit to build confidence, minimize false positives, and aid in remediation prioritization.
- Expand integration support for development platforms
New integrations have been added for GitLab.com, GitLab Self Managed, GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket, and Confluence, broadening the agent's connectivity with common development and collaboration tools.
