Amazon GameLift Streams has launched new Generation 6e (G6e) stream classes featuring enhanced GPU performance for graphically demanding games and applications. These new classes leverage EC2 G6e instances with NVIDIA L40S Tensor Core GPUs, offering increased GPU memory and bandwidth. They are designed for users requiring maximum GPU performance for AAA-quality game streaming and are now available in select AWS Regions.

    Amazon GameLift Streams now offers Generation 6e (G6e) stream classes, powered by EC2 G6e instances with NVIDIA L40S GPUs. These classes provide 2x GPU memory and up to 2.9x faster GPU memory bandwidth than standard Generation 6 classes, suitable for high-fidelity game streaming.

  • Dedicated NVIDIA L40S GPU with 48 GB memory for demanding applications

    The gen6e_pro and gen6e_pro_win2022 stream classes provide a full dedicated NVIDIA L40S GPU with 48 GB of memory. This configuration is ideal for AAA-quality game streaming and other GPU-intensive applications requiring high frame rates at high resolutions.
