GameLift Streams now supports custom aspect ratios, allowing configurations for portrait, landscape, ultra-wide, and square aspect ratios. This eliminates letterboxing and provides native full-screen experiences on various devices by matching player device resolutions.
- Dynamic resolution for adaptive stream quality
Dynamic Resolution automatically adjusts stream quality based on player network bandwidth fluctuations. It reduces resolution during drops to maintain smooth playback and recovers automatically when conditions improve. This feature is enabled by default for all new stream groups.
